Architecture
Field devices to master node to optional external networks.
The master node is visually and operationally central. The gateway is a single dumb transport bridge with two network-facing sides — one physical device, never a second control point.
Field Devices
- Tablets
- Kiosks
- Scanners
- Terminals
LumaCore Master Node

- Local runtime
- Receipt engine
- Proof store
- Device authority
- Trust policy
Single Dumb Gateway
Transport Bridge Only
- Receives approved outbound bundles
- Pass-through only
- No signing keys
- No admin authority
- Internet optional

- Satellite optional
- Partner/regulator route optional
One device. Two network sides. Zero authority.
Optional External Networks
- Internet optional
- Private mesh optional
- Satellite optional
- Partner / regulator access
The gateway is a single dumb transport bridge with a LAN-facing side and an external-facing side. It can connect the master node to optional internet, private mesh, satellite, or partner routes, but it does not control the system. It holds no signing keys, no trust policy, no admin authority, no settlement authority, and no business logic. All authority remains on the LumaCore Master Node.
External transport is optional and gateway-mediated. The gateway only passes approved bundles from the master node to the selected route. It cannot inspect, alter, approve, settle, or administer the proof layer.
LumaCore keeps authority local. Field devices talk to the master node over trusted LAN. The gateway is only a transport bridge between the master node and optional outside routes.
